Church Ministries
Prayer Matters:We strongly believe in the value of prayer. On the first Tuesday night of each month, our Church family meets together for Corporate Prayer at 7.30pm. Mutual Encouragement Prayer Partnerships (MEPP) are a great way to support and encourage each other in our walk with Jesus. Accountability and trust are built up in these one-to-one relationships. For details of any of the above, phone the office. Growth Groups:Growth Groups, previously known as Home Groups, cater for all age groups and meet regularly in homes throughout Dubbo for fellowship, study, prayer and mutual support. Often a common theme or topic will be studied which may also be reflected in the teaching at Church Services. If you are interested in joining a Growth Group please drop into the Church and have a look at the list of available Groups. Groups are available for all age groups: 729 - for Young people in Years 7-9, Young People - for those in Years 10 - 12, Young Adults Groups, Family Groups, Ladies Groups, Mens Groups, and mixed aged groups. We would love to have you as part of our Church family. If you would like to be part of a Growth Group, contact the office. Overseas field Trips:From time to time, usually annually, a group from the Church visits an overseas church and/or ministry or mission. Trips are self-funded and intended to bless and support those visited. The group may be asked to use drama, song, dance, or puppets in various presentations of the gospel. They may also assist the existing ministry or mission in more practical ways. If you would like more details, phone the Church Office (6884 2320) Morling College Correspondence Course Support:For those who wish to study God's Word in a more formal way through Morling College's Correspondence Courses, we offer a support if you require. Speak to Ray Wilson - 6884 3485 - to find out more. |
